Provider
The service is provided by Ruben D’Alcamo, C.da San Michele, 94010 Calascibetta (EN), Italy, VAT no. 01282050861. Contact: ruben@ourdaysleft.com (not active yet). Pre-contract information, tax obligations, renewals and withdrawal terms still require confirmation and legal review; sales remain disabled.
Planned service and prices
The statistical estimate and writing to someone who has died are free. The planned prices are €29 per year for the annual plan and €3.90 for an illustrated package. For each year actually paid, the annual plan includes two illustrated A4 package credits (two artworks): each package pairs one artwork with either the complete day map for the estimate or a saved letter. The plan also includes up to ten people, unlimited letters, date choice and one monthly reminder. The free plan allows up to two people and, after the first letter for each person, one new letter every rolling seven days. Before any purchase, the seller and checkout must show the final price, currency and applicable taxes. Checkout and tax configuration are not active; real purchases are unavailable.
Expiry and copies
When a plan expires, writing should not be deleted: it should remain readable and exportable, and the user should be able to choose up to two people for continued free writing. This rule still needs Worker verification. TXT and JSON exports remain under the user’s control.
Access and continuity
Access can be recovered only by verifying a new address with the one-time code or an already verified backup email; support cannot manually unlock an account. If the primary email, backup email and code are all lost, the account cannot be reopened and online letters may be permanently lost. A JSON export can be imported into a new account. Family members receive no automatic access after the account holder’s death; anyone who wishes to share letters can export and give a copy to someone while alive.
Cancellation, renewal and support
Pre-contract information, renewal, cancellation, digital-content and digital-service withdrawal, refunds and complaints must be completed after commercial setup and legal review in the provider’s country. Purchases must remain disabled until then.
Availability and permitted use
This site is a preview of a service in preparation. Free access may be limited or suspended for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Free features are intended to be available in countries where the service may lawfully be provided; sanctions controls or provider restrictions may prevent a transaction without preventing access to public pages. Do not treat an estimate as medical advice or certainty about the future.
Content, artwork and mandatory rights
Personal writing remains the author’s. Any technical licence to the service is limited to the requested features. Catalogue artwork is not free to redistribute merely because a watermarked preview is visible. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded. No paid contract is formed in this preview.
Donations
Any PayPal link is a voluntary donation separate from subscriptions and artwork packages; it does not buy features, credits or priority. Payment is handled on PayPal’s site. The donation’s tax treatment must be checked before it is publicly solicited.
